Wonderseed World
An immersive trauma-informed cognitive behavioural gamification programme designed to prevent youth drug initiation and recidivism in the juvenile justice system.
About
Wonderseed World is an innovative immersive programme developed for the Wonderseed Foundation, designed to prevent youth initiation into drugs and reduce recidivism in the juvenile justice system. The programme uses a trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioural Gamification approach to teach justice-involved youth the tools to identify and express their unmet needs, frustrations, and anger in safe and healthy ways. Structured across 7 weekly modules, each session challenges the player to solve a puzzle – designed in collaboration with psychologists and educational guides. The programme provides tools to overcome societal obstacles and emotional dysregulation through positive communication skills, good decision making, and constructive thought patterns.
